Description

Texas law provides consumers purchasing residential property insurance with certain rights (per TAC Rule 5.9970d, 5/12). Known as the "Bill of Rights", it provides information on industry practices and regulations designed to educate, protect and provide consumers with a means to enforce such rights.

The intent of this course is to provide adjusters with a comprehensive review of the "Bill of Rights" and enhance their awareness of consumer protection in the claim handling process. This course is a “must read” for every adjuster handling residential property claims.

This course has been certified as "Classroom Equivalent" by TX DOI for 1 Ethics/Consumer Protection CE under Course ID #90481. (*Classroom Equivalent" means there is NO FINAL EXAM required for this course*).
