Welcome to the National Online Flood Adjuster Training Program and its core curriculum: The 4-Corners of Flood Insurance.  In this introductory course you'll receive a comprehensive introduction to the origin and evolution of the NFIP and leave with an understanding of how the NFIP operates and the manner in which flood insurance is provided to the industry.

Most importantly, you will gain extremely valuable knowledge and understanding of what the basic flood "Dwelling" policy covers and learn how to approach the adjustment of flood claims in a most effective and productive manner...a manner that will ensure a positive experience, a quality work product, timely payment of benefits to policyholders.

This course provides, in vivid detail:

  • an introduction to the coverages, exclusions, and conditions contained within the NFIP Dwelling Form;
  • informative videos straight from FEMA and the NFIP that will leave you with a deeper appreciation and understanding of what is covered and not covered; and,
  • detailed instruction on how to inspect, scope, and adjust claims under the coverages of the NFIP Dwelling Policy...

…all of which will help you ensure maximum financial recovery for the policyholder after a flood disaster while remaining true to the scope and intent of the NFIP Dwelling policy.

*Note: Due to the focus and "federal" nature of this curriculum, Adjuster Continuing Education ("CE") credits are not provided.
